Why the A-Coding Matters Before You Wire It
The T4111002041-000 is an M12 A-coded receptacle with 4 male pins, screw termination, and a free-hanging (in-line) body. The A-coding is the most common M12 keying — it mates only with an A-coded plug, so a B-coded or D-coded cordset will not engage. The threaded fastening ring and the IP67 seal (dust-tight, waterproof when mated) make this a standard choice for sensor and actuator harnesses in industrial cabinets, conveyor lines, and washdown zones.
Field Wiring — No Crimp Tool Needed
Screw termination means you strip the wire, insert it into the contact cavity, and tighten the screw — no crimp press, no applicator changeover. The cable opening accepts 0.236" to 0.315" (6.00 mm to 8.00 mm) diameter cable, which covers the common M12 sensor cables with a 6-8 mm jacket. The backshell is glass-filled PBT, and the insert is polyamide (nylon). The unshielded variant is fine for signal-level DC loops; if the run passes near VFD cabling, you will want the shielded version of this series.
Sealing and Temperature Range
IP67 means the connector is sealed against dust ingress and temporary immersion when fully mated. The 4 A rating is per contact at the full temperature range.
