M12 A-Coded Receptacle for Sealed Industrial Wiring
The T4111002051-000 is a 5-position M12 A-coded receptacle with male pins, designed for free-hanging (in-line) installation in industrial sensor, actuator, and fieldbus cabling. It carries an IP67 rating when mated with the corresponding female plug, sealing against dust ingress and temporary water immersion — the O-ring seals at the mating face, not the threads. The threaded coupling provides vibration-resistant retention, standard for M12 circular connectors per IEC 61076-2-101. The gold-plated mating contacts (3.00 µin / 0.076 µm) resist fretting corrosion in repeated mate/unmate cycles, which matters for field-service connections that get swapped during maintenance. The cable opening accepts 0.236" to 0.315" (6.00 mm to 8.00 mm) diameter cable, so a 6 mm sensor cable fits without a reducer. The screw termination uses a zinc alloy contact body, and the backshell is glass-filled PBT with a nickel-plated brass shell.
Wiring and Cable Fit
The screw termination accepts stripped conductors without a crimp tool — loosen the screw, insert the wire, tighten. The 6.00 mm to 8.00 mm cable opening means a standard 6 mm OD sensor cable fits without adapters; an 8 mm cable fills the gland fully for maximum strain relief. The unshielded design (no EMC screen) is suited for non-critical signal paths or where the cable itself provides the shield. Mates with any standard M12 A-coded female plug (5-position). The A-coded keying prevents cross-mating with B-, C-, or D-coded M12 connectors — a common field gotcha when replacing a sensor cable on a mixed-coded network.
Active lifecycle per the manufacturer. ROHS3 compliant.
