M12 A-Coded Field-Wireable Receptacle
The T4111002081-000 is an M12 A-coded receptacle with male pins, designed for free-hanging (in-line) cable mounting in industrial automation and sensor networks. This 8-position connector uses screw termination for field wiring without special tooling, and the threaded coupling ring provides a vibration-resistant mate. The nickel-plated brass shell and IP67 rating make it suited for factory-floor and washdown environments where dust and temporary water exposure are expected.
The cable opening accepts 0.236" to 0.315" (6.00mm to 8.00mm) diameter cable, and the included backshell provides strain relief and cable retention.
Contact and Electrical Ratings
Each of the 8 contacts is rated 2A at 30V. The 30V rating is typical for sensor-level signals (proximity switches, photoelectric sensors, encoder signals) rather than power distribution. The screw termination accepts solid or stranded wire and allows field re-termination if a cable is damaged.
Coding and Mating Compatibility
The A-coding keying position is the standard for DeviceNet and general-purpose sensor/actuator networks. The threaded coupling ring provides a positive lock — hand-tighten until the O-ring seats for the IP67 seal. The unshielded design means it is not intended for environments with high EMI; a shielded M12 variant would be needed for that.
