M12 A-Coded Receptacle, 4 Male Pins, Shielded
The TE Connectivity T4111011041-000 is an M12 A-coded receptacle with 4 male pins, designed for free-hanging (in-line) industrial cabling. It uses a threaded coupling ring for a vibration-resistant mate and carries a screw termination for field-attachable wiring. The connector is fully shielded with a nickel-plated brass shell and a brass, nickel-plated backshell, giving it the RFI/EMI protection needed in sensor and actuator circuits near variable-frequency drives or motor cables. Rated 4 A per contact at 250 V, with gold-plated mating surfaces at 3.00 µin (0.076 µm) thickness, the contact interface is specified for corrosive industrial atmospheres where tin would frett. The cable opening range of 0.157" to 0.236" (4.00 mm to 6.00 mm) accepts common sensor and actuator cables. The polyamide (nylon) insert provides the dielectric isolation for the 250 V rating.
No official successor or cross-reference part is listed.
Mating and Field Assembly
This receptacle accepts the matching M12 A-coded male-pin cordset or panel-mount plug with a threaded coupling nut. The A-coding keying ensures it only mates with an A-coded counterpart — a B-coded or D-coded plug will not engage. The screw termination allows field wiring without a crimp tool; strip the wire, insert, and tighten the screw to the torque spec in the product drawing.
