M12 A-Coded Receptacle, 5 Male Pins, Screw Termination — IP67 for Industrial Harness Duty
The screw termination gives the panel builder a field-serviceable connection — no special crimp tool, just a screwdriver to land each conductor. Rated 4 A per contact at 60 V, with gold-over-nickel plating on the mating surfaces, it handles signal-level and moderate power circuits inside a single circular shell. The IP67 seal (dust-tight, waterproof when mated) means this connector lives on the machine frame, in washdown zones, or on outdoor equipment without a secondary enclosure.
Cable Opening and Termination — 6.00 mm to 8.00 mm, Screw Clamp
The backshell accepts cable diameters from 0.236" to 0.315" (6.00 mm to 8.00 mm). The screw terminals inside the insert clamp each conductor individually.
The IP67 rating means the connector is dust-tight and can withstand temporary immersion in water — standard for M12 connectors in food processing, packaging lines, and outdoor conveyor systems.
Mating Compatibility and Keying — Standard M12 A-Code, Threaded Coupling
This is a standard M12 A-coded receptacle with male pins — it mates with any M12 A-coded female connector (cordset or panel-mount) that has the threaded coupling ring. The A-coding orientation ensures the keying aligns the pin positions correctly; a B-coded or D-coded plug will not mate, which prevents cross-wiring between power and data circuits on the same machine. The threaded fastening type provides vibration-resistant coupling — the ring tightens against the O-ring in the mating half to maintain the IP67 seal.
