M12 B-Coded Receptacle for Fieldbus Wiring
The T4111402051-000 is a TE Connectivity M12 B-coded receptacle with 5 male pins, designed for free-hanging (in-line) installation in industrial sensor and actuator networks. The B-coding orientation is specific to Profibus and other Fieldbus protocols — the keying prevents accidental mating with A-coded (sensor) or D-coded (Ethernet) connectors. The IP67 rating makes it dust-tight and protected against temporary water immersion, so it suits cabinet drops, conveyor lines, and washdown zones where moisture or debris is present. The screw termination accepts cables from 0.236" to 0.315" (6.00 mm to 8.00 mm) diameter, which covers most standard sensor cables. The gold-plated mating contacts (3.00 µin) resist corrosion in humid environments and hold up through repeated connect-disconnect cycles in field maintenance. The backshell is included in the assembly — it provides strain relief and a clean cable exit, so the installer doesn't need to source a separate hardware kit. Shell is nickel-plated brass; the insert is polyamide (nylon).
Screw terminals mean no crimp tool is required — strip the wire, insert into the clamp, tighten. The cable opening range (6-8 mm) accepts the common PVC or PUR sensor cables used in automation. The 5-position pinout follows the B-coded M12 standard. The contacts are rated 4A with gold plating.
