M12 A-coded plug for 4-wire sensor or actuator circuits
The TE T4112001041-000 is an M12 A-coded plug with 4 female sockets, designed for industrial sensor and actuator connections where a threaded, IP67-rated circular interface is required. It carries a 4A per-contact rating at 250V, with gold-plated mating surfaces (3.00µin gold over nickel on zinc alloy contacts) for corrosion resistance in humid or washdown environments.
Wiring it in: cable entry and termination
Screw termination — strip the wire, insert, tighten. No crimp tool needed. The cable opening accepts 4.00mm to 6.00mm diameter cable (0.157" to 0.236"), which covers most 4-conductor sensor cables in 18-22 AWG. The backshell and coupling nut are included in the bulk package; the backshell is glass-filled PBT, the coupling nut is metal with a nickel finish. The threaded fastening (M12 x 1.0) mates with any standard M12 A-coded receptacle or cordset.
Sealing and environment
The A-coded keying (orientation A) is the standard for DC power and sensor networks; it will not mate with B-coded (fieldbus) or D-coded (Ethernet) M12 receptacles.
