M12 A-Coded Receptacle for Sensor/Actuator Wiring
The T4113001051-000 is an M12 A-coded receptacle with 5 male pins, designed as the device-side half of a circular industrial interconnect. The right-angle cable exit and integrated backshell keep the cable routed flat against the panel or device face, saving space in tight cabinets. Rated 4A per contact at 60V, the 5-pin layout covers the common sensor power-and-signal circuit (typically 24V DC with 3-wire PNP/NPN plus optional shield ground). Screw termination means no crimp tool is needed — strip the wire, insert, tighten. The cable opening accepts jackets from 0.157" to 0.236" (4.00 mm to 6.00 mm), covering most standard sensor cables. The glass-filled PBT backshell provides the strain relief and clamping force to keep the cable from pulling on the screw terminals under vibration.
Field Wiring Checklist
This is a male-pin receptacle — it goes on the device or sensor, not the cable. The threaded coupling ring must be tightened to achieve the IP67 seal; hand-tight alone may not hold the seal under hose-down pressure. Unshielded variant — no EMC protection through the shell. If the cable run passes near VFDs or switching power supplies, use a shielded M12 cordset and a shielded receptacle. The nickel-plated brass shell still provides a mechanical ground path if the panel is bonded, but the connector itself has no internal shield termination. The nylon insert and PBT backshell hold up to the thermal cycling without cracking.
