Why D-Coding Matters Before You Hand-Tighten
The D orientation on this M12-3 shell prevents mating with an A-coded or B-coded receptacle. The threaded coupling seals the IP67 O-ring when hand-tightened plus a quarter turn.
Screw Termination and Cable Fit
Screw termination: strip the wire, insert it into the contact chamber, and tighten the set screw — no crimp tool needed. The backshell accepts cables from 6.00 mm to 8.00 mm outer diameter.
The T4113501041-000 is the 4-position version of this same D-coded M12 receptacle, also rated 4 A at 250 V with screw termination and a 4.00 mm to 6.00 mm cable range. The T4113502031-000 gives you 3 positions instead of 4, which matches a 3-wire sensor or actuator cable — the 4-position sibling is for devices that need a fourth signal or a separate shield drain.
