M12 B-Coded Panel Receptacle — 5-Pin Solder Cup Termination
It is the panel-mount half of a threaded circular interconnect pair, designed for industrial sensor/actuator networks where B-coding prevents cross-mating with A- or D-coded counterparts. Rated 4 A per contact at 60 V, with an IP67 seal when mated to the corresponding female cordset — the bulkhead O-ring seals at the panel face, not the thread. The polyamide (PA66) insert carries UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and the operating range spans -40°C to 85°C.
Coding and Mating Compatibility
B-coding is the keying variant specified for DeviceNet and Profibus trunk lines — the keyway position on the male insert face ensures only a B-coded female cordset will mate. An A-coded or D-coded plug will not engage, preventing wiring errors in multi-network panels. The threaded fastening (M12 x 1.0) provides vibration-resistant coupling per IEC 61076-2-101. The 5-position layout follows the standard M12-5 shell size.
