M12 B-Coded 3-Position Plug for Industrial Sensor Networks
This is a metal-shell panel-mount connector with a threaded coupling nut, nickel shell finish, and gold-over-nickel contacts plated to 3.00 µin on the mating surface. The B-coding means it's keyed for use in fieldbus and actuator networks — it won't mate with an A-coded sensor connector or a D-coded Ethernet jack, which prevents miswiring in mixed-signal harnesses. The UL94 V-0 nylon insert holds the contacts in position and resists flame propagation inside the enclosure.
Termination is solder cup — strip and tin the wire, then solder into the cup. The panel mounts from the front side with a bulkhead nut, and the threaded coupling ring provides the vibration-resistant mate. The 3-position pinout is standard for M12 B-coded connectors; confirm the mating receptacle's coding and pin assignment before committing the BOM line.
