IP67 Sealing and A-Coding
Rated IP67 when mated with the corresponding female cordset, this receptacle seals against dust ingress and temporary immersion in water. The A-coding orientation ensures it mates only with A-coded M12 connectors — a standard keying for sensor and actuator networks in factory automation, process control, and outdoor equipment. The threaded fastening type (M12-5 shell size) provides a vibration-resistant coupling. Hand-tight should seal it; a half-turn loose is a dropout in a washdown line.
RoHS3 compliant per current directive. The gold plating thickness on the mating contact is 3.00 µin (0.076 µm) — adequate for moderate mating cycle duty in controlled environments.
