Product details

M12 D-Coded Panel Receptacle for Industrial Ethernet

The T4140512031-000 is a TE Connectivity M12 D-coded receptacle with 3 male pins, designed for panel-mount industrial Ethernet and sensor-actuator networks. The D-coding keying prevents cross-mating with A- or B-coded M12 connectors — critical in mixed-protocol cabinets where Profinet or EtherNet/IP shares a panel with sensor I/O.

Termination is solder — the three male pins are soldered directly to the PCB or to a pre-wired pigtail. The bulkhead front-side nut mounts the receptacle through a panel cutout, with the threaded coupling facing outward for the mating female cordset. No crimp tool required; the field installer solders the leads and tightens the nut.
