M12 A-Coded Panel Receptacle for Sealed Industrial Links
The TE Connectivity T4143012081-000 is an M12 A-coded receptacle with 8 female socket positions, designed for panel-mount industrial interconnect where IP67 sealing is required. This is the fixed half of a threaded circular connection — mates with the matching M12 A-coded plug (male pin) cordset. The 8 circuits at 2 A per contact suit it for sensor/actuator signal bundles and low-power I/O links, not bus-level power distribution.
Mounting and Sealing for Panel Feed-Through
This receptacle mounts through a panel cutout with a bulkhead rear-side nut, securing it from the inside of the enclosure. The threaded fastening locks the pair against vibration loosening, standard for M12 in factory automation and machine tool applications. Solder termination to the PCB requires a through-hole footprint; the rear-side nut pulls the connector flush against the panel face.
A-Code Keying and Position Count
The A-coded orientation is the most common M12 keying variant, used for sensor/actuator networks (DeviceNet, IO-Link) and DC power. Eight positions in a single M12 shell — the M12-8 shell size packs more circuits than the standard 4- or 5-pin M12, so confirm the mating cordset also carries 8 pins in an A-coded insert. The polyamide (PA66) insert provides the keying and contact retention within the metal shell.
