Sealed M12 Plug for 2-Wire Field Connections

IP67 Only When Mated and Locked
An unmated half left open on the panel loses its seal; cap the receptacle side if the cable is disconnected between shifts. The polyamide insert and UL94 V-0 rated housing hold up in industrial enclosures, but the gasket seal is the weak point in washdown cycles — inspect the O-ring before each re-mate.
Mating and Coding
The threaded fastening provides vibration resistance to IEC 61076-2-101, but the coupling torque matters: hand-tighten until the ring seats, then a quarter turn with a wrench. Over-torquing can crack the nylon insert.
