Board Layout Fit: 0.80 mm Pitch and 6 Circuits
The board footprint is compact: the 0.80 mm pitch leaves limited room for trace escape between pads, so a four-layer PCB is typical for fan-out. The SMT pads are held in place during reflow by the solder retention feature, which also resists shear force from the mated cable assembly. The 30 VAC rating matches the Minitek 0.80 mm series voltage limit for internal wiring in household and commercial equipment.
This header mates with a Minitek 0.80 mm receptacle housing (same series base code 10144042). Push-pull fastening means the connector pair is held by friction and the shroud interference — no secondary latch, so the mated joint is not rated for high-vibration environments without additional retention. Termination is solder-only — the header is surface-mounted to the PCB.
Glow Wire and Flame Rating for Appliance Use
This is a mandatory safety requirement for household appliances and commercial equipment where the connector sits inside an enclosure that must not propagate flame from a fault. The thermoplastic insulation is halogen-free, which supports compliance with low-smoke, zero-halogen (LSZH) material specifications common in European appliance and lighting applications.
It is RoHS compliant.
