75-ohm BNC plug for RG-6 cable runs
The 112491-11: It ships as a complete termination kit: one connector body, one center contact, one ferrule, and one sleeve, all in a single Bulk pack.
The 75 Ohm impedance is non-negotiable for video and telecom — a 50 Ohm BNC on the same run would create a reflection at the interface. This plug holds its impedance through 4 GHz with a 0.2 dB insertion loss, which is tight enough for HD-SDI and broadband CATV headends.
Termination and field assembly
The center contact crimps onto the signal wire; the ferrule crimps over the braid and jacket. The nickel-plated brass body resists corrosion, and the silver housing colour makes it easy to spot in a dense patch panel. The kit format means you don't have to order the contact and ferrule separately — one line item covers the whole termination.
