The 112775-75: The 75 Ohm impedance targets video, broadcast, and data-com applications where the system characteristic impedance is 75 Ohm — think SDI video routers, CATV headends, or precision instrumentation. The bayonet lock mates fast and holds under vibration, and the bulkhead front-side nut mount lets you fix the jack to a panel before terminating the solder connection. The board-edge, end-launch mounting option also allows direct PCB integration without a pigtail.
Sizing the RF Path: Impedance, Frequency, and Insertion Loss
The 75 Ohm impedance and 0.2 dB insertion loss are specified for 3 GHz max. The PTFE dielectric and BNC geometry define the upper frequency limit.
Two mounting paths: board-edge end-launch for direct PCB solder, or bulkhead front-side nut mount for panel fixing. The shield termination is solder, so you'll need a soldering iron and a clean ground pad — no crimp or clamp.
