RP-TNC Bulkhead Jack for RG-405 Semi-Rigid Cable
The Amphenol RF 122463RP-50 is an RP-TNC jack (male pin) designed for panel-mount bulkhead installations using RG-405 (.085" or.086" diameter) semi-rigid coaxial cable. It is a reverse-polarity TNC connector, meaning the gender of the center contact is reversed compared to a standard TNC — the jack has a male pin instead of a female socket. This connector is rated for 50 Ohm impedance and operates up to 11 GHz, with a PTFE dielectric and gold-plated brass center contact for consistent RF performance across the band. The nickel-plated brass body and threaded coupling provide a secure, vibration-resistant connection.
This connector is specifically intended for RG-405 (.085" /.086" diameter) semi-rigid cable. Both the shield and the center contact are terminated by soldering — there is no crimp option. The kit supplies the separate contact and insulator, so the assembly requires a soldering step for each termination. The threaded coupling mates with any standard RP-TNC female jack or bulkhead receptacle.
