RP-SMA Bulkhead Jack for RG-405 Semi-Rigid — 50 Ohm, 18 GHz
The gold-plated brass body and gold-over-brass centre contact give it 500 mating cycles of reconnect duty before the plating wears through on the mating interface.
Mounting and Termination — Bulkhead Front Nut, Solder
This jack mounts with a front-side nut through a bulkhead panel.
What the 18 GHz and 500-Cycle Ratings Mean
The 18 GHz max frequency means this jack holds its impedance through the launch up to Ku-band — useful for test equipment, antenna feeds, or microwave links where the signal path can't tolerate a mismatch. The 500 mating cycles come from the gold-over-brass centre contact; that's enough for field-service reconnects on a piece of installed gear, but not for a daily-use test-port connector where you'd want a higher-cycle SMA. The 375 V rating is the breakdown limit through the PTFE dielectric at sea level — derate it at altitude or in high-humidity enclosures.
