The body is machined brass with a white bronze finish, giving it corrosion resistance for outdoor or industrial enclosures while maintaining the RF ground path through the threaded bulkhead mount.
This jack terminates to RG-178, RG-178A, RG-178B, RG-196, RG-196A, and M17/93-RG178 coax — all small-diameter 50 Ohm cables with a solid or stranded center conductor. The shield termination is crimp, and the center contact can be either crimped or soldered, giving the harness builder flexibility depending on the tooling available. For field installations, the crimp option is faster and more repeatable; for lab or low-volume work, solder gives a visual joint check. The single-port bulkhead mount with front-side nut secures the jack to a panel cutout before cable attachment, which simplifies assembly when the cable is pre-terminated on one end.
