The 1.27mm pitch and 0.050" row spacing let you route traces between pads on a standard PCB without necking down — a practical density for signal-only interconnects where 2.54mm pitch wastes board area. The 0.120" (3.05mm) mating pin length and 0.098" (2.50mm) insulation height set the mated stack height — confirm your board spacing before layout.
What the 1.27mm Pitch and Gold Plating Mean for Your Build
The 1.27mm pitch is half the legacy 2.54mm grid, so the 60 positions fit in a 38.1mm-long footprint (60 × 1.27mm / 2 rows). The UL94 V-0 thermoplastic housing holds up in equipment requiring flame-rated components inside an enclosure.
