What This 1.27 mm Pitch Header Does for a Board-to-Board Stack
The 20021121-00016T4LF: This is a 16-position, dual-row, unshrouded header from the Minitek127® 1.27mm series. The 1.27 mm pitch and 0.050" row spacing let you route two signals per row in a tight board-to-board mezzanine stack — the 0.120" (3.05 mm) mating pin length sets the mated height above the PCB. The gold mating finish (10 µinch) keeps contact resistance stable over repeated mating cycles — a solid choice for signal-level interconnects where the board stack is accessed during test or field service. Surface-mount termination with tin-plated posts (50 µinch) — the SMD tails reflow alongside other board components, saving a wave-solder pass.
Unshrouded male pins with a square contact shape — mates with a Minitek127 1.27mm receptacle (sold separately). Push-pull fastening; no locking latch, so plan for a secondary retention method if the assembly sees vibration. All 16 positions are loaded.
