It uses a 1.27mm pitch on both rows, with a 1.27mm row spacing, making it a compact board-to-board interconnect for dense PCB layouts. The push-pull fastening allows tool-less mating and unmating — useful in field-service scenarios where the board needs to be swapped quickly.
