Board Layout and Pitch Check
The 20021612-00012T4LF: This is a 12-position, dual-row header on 0.050" (1.27mm) pitch — the same pitch used by standard 1.27mm IDC ribbon cable assemblies. The row spacing is also 0.050" (1.27mm), so the footprint is a 6x2 grid of 0.025" square pins. The post length is 0.091" (2.30mm) — enough for a standard 1.6mm PCB with a through-hole solder joint.
The keying slot ensures the cable plug can only go in one way, which avoids pin damage on assembly. The insulation height is 0.220" (5.60mm), so plan for that clearance above the board when routing the cable.
Current and Temperature Limits
The UL94 V-0 plastic housing keeps the connector safe inside equipment enclosures that require flame-rated materials.
