75 Ohm MCX Receptacle for Semi-Rigid Cable
The Amphenol 252105-75 is a 75 Ohm MCX receptacle, female socket, designed for through-hole solder termination to RG-405 (.085" semi-rigid) cable. Its 75 Ohm impedance targets video, broadcast, and telecom signal paths where 50 Ohm is the wrong match — think SDI video routers, DOCSIS cable headends, or precision test fixtures that need to stay in the 75 Ohm domain end-to-end.
The 0.1 dB figure is measured at the connector interface; in a real assembly, the total loss will depend on the cable length and the quality of the solder joint at the shield termination.
Snap-On Mating and Cable Compatibility
Fastening is snap-on, the standard MCX push-and-click interface. The receptacle accepts RG-405 (.085" semi-rigid) cable. Shield termination is solder.
