Cable Prep and Termination
This jack comes as a 3-piece kit: the connector body, the centre contact, and the ferrule. The centre contact crimps onto the signal wire (phosphor bronze, gold-plated), and the shield termination is a crimp-over-braid style using the supplied ferrule. The cable groups it supports are all 50 Ohm coax with a nominal 0.195-inch jacket diameter — RG-58, 58A/B/C, 141, 303, LMR-195, and Belden 7806A/9907. The dielectric material is PTFE, so the centre conductor stays centred through the crimp cycle and the impedance holds through the transition.
