SMB Fakra Jack for RG-174/316 Coax
The 2FA1-NZSJ-C01-6 is a 50 Ohm SMB Fakra jack from Amphenol RF, designed as a female socket for free-hanging, in-line crimp termination. The blue housing carries Fakra Code Z keying, which prevents cross-mating with other color-coded Fakra connectors in multi-harness automotive or telecom assemblies. Rated to 6 GHz with a 0.3 dB insertion loss ceiling. The latch lock fastening gives a positive click on mate — no torque wrench needed, and it holds under vibration.
Cable and Termination Match
This jack is built for RG-174, RG-188A, RG-316, LMR-100, and M17/119-RG174 coax. The center contact crimps onto the signal conductor; the ferrule crimps over the braid and jacket. The shield termination is also crimp, so the whole assembly is solderless — consistent impedance through the joint, no cold-solder risk. The dielectric is PTFE, which holds its dielectric constant across the -40°C to 100°C operating range, so the 50 Ohm line stays clean from cold start to under-hood heat soak.
Plating and Contact Life
The body is zinc die cast with nickel finish, and the housing is color-coded blue.
