A full 4-wall shroud surrounds the pin field, protecting the contacts during blind mating and guiding the cable plug into alignment. The latch lock/eject hooks provide a positive mechanical retention against vibration and a tool-less push-to-release for the mating half.

Termination and Mounting – Through-Hole Solder

The insulation height of 0.640" (16.26 mm) includes the shroud and latch hooks – account for this above-board clearance when routing cables or fitting into a tight enclosure.
