The 55510-018: This is a Minitek® 2.00mm series board-to-board receptacle, 18 positions loaded in two rows at 0.079" (2.00mm) pitch — the row spacing is also 0.079" (2.00mm), giving a square grid that simplifies PCB routing.
Gold prevents oxidation on the phosphor bronze base material, but the thin layer limits the connector to a few dozen mate-unmate cycles before wear-through.
Mating Half and Assembly
This receptacle mates with a Minitek® 2.00mm board-to-board header (male pins, square contact shape). In a vibration-prone assembly, a header with board locks or a secondary lock is recommended to keep the mated pair engaged.
