Board Fit and Routing Constraints
The 58102-G61-07LF: Unshrouded design means the mating receptacle housing must align the pins directly — there is no shroud wall to guide the plug, so the board keep-out zone is minimal but the mating alignment relies on the housing keying.
Current and Contact Performance
For a connector cycled quarterly, this plating delivers decades of reliable contact. Contact material is copper alloy — the base metal provides adequate conductivity and spring properties for the pin beam, with the gold plating handling the wear and oxidation protection.
This header mates with Minitek® 2.00 mm pitch crimp receptacle housings — the unshrouded pin arrangement is designed for wire-to-board connections using the matching Minitek® terminal and housing series. In a vibration environment, a secondary locking housing or a dab of adhesive on the mating face is worth considering. Insulation height is 0.165" (4.20 mm) — this sets the standoff from the board surface to the mating face, which affects the overall stack height when mated with a receptacle.
