Board-to-Cable Header with Positive Locking
The 65863-067LF: The 0.100-inch (2.54mm) pitch matches standard ribbon cable and IDC connectors, while the latch lock/eject hooks provide a positive mechanical lock to prevent accidental disconnection under vibration or cable strain. The keying slot ensures correct orientation, preventing mismating.
The mating contacts are plated with 30.0 µinch (0.76 µm) of gold over nickel, which supports a rated 500 mating cycles minimum. The square pin shape provides consistent contact force across the mating face.
Mounting and PCB Integration
This header mounts through-hole with a 0.105-inch (2.67mm) post length, suitable for standard 1.6mm PCBs. The black insulation color is standard for the Quickie™ series.
