The 66226-008LF: The connector accepts FFC 0.33 mm thick — match the cable thickness to the actuator gap; a thicker cable jams the ZIF mechanism, a thinner one loses contact force. Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) with a slide lock: the actuator opens the contact beams so the cable slides in without scraping the plating. Once the cable is seated, the slide lock closes the beams and holds the cable — no secondary latch needed. A flipped flex shorts the wrong row, so confirm the contact side before inserting.
