FFC Compatibility and Termination
This header accepts FFC with a thickness of 0.30mm or 0.33mm — a narrow window that must match the cable spec exactly. The cable end type is straight or tapered, so the FFC can be inserted with either a straight cut or a tapered lead-in for easier alignment under the ZIF actuator. Termination is solder — the header pins are soldered to the PCB pads. The blue housing and black actuator provide visual polarity: the actuator colour contrasts with the housing to confirm the latch is open or closed during assembly.
