7-Position FFC Header with ZIF Flip Lock
Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) with a flip lock means the FFC slides in with no force on the contacts, then the actuator clamps down to hold the cable. That flip lock is the only retention — no secondary latch, so the lock must be fully closed before the assembly sees vibration. Contacts are 30µinch gold over copper nickel alloy — the gold thickness handles the 100-cycle rating without exposing the base metal to corrosion.
The 500 V rating is the voltage withstand between adjacent circuits; in a 24 V or 48 V signal application you have plenty of headroom.
