50-Position Dual-Row Header at 0.100" Pitch
The 66429-091: This pitch is the standard for ribbon-cable IDC systems and sets the board footprint for the mating receptacle. All 50 positions are loaded, so there are no unpopulated pins to manage in the layout. The solder tails measure 0.105" (2.67 mm) long, sufficient for standard 0.062" PCBs with through-hole soldering.
30 µinch Gold Mating Surface and Latch Lock Retention
The mating contacts carry 30.0 µinch (0.76 µm) of gold over nickel on the pin surface. The contact base is phosphor bronze alloy, which provides good spring properties and corrosion resistance. A keying slot and mounting flange are included — the keying prevents mis-mating with non-keyed receptacles, and the flange provides a mechanical anchor point for panel-mount or strain-relief brackets.
