The 66951-016 is the 16-position member of Amphenol ICC (FCI)'s Dubox™ receptacle line, a single-row board-to-board socket on 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch. Rated 1250 V with gold-plated mating contacts, it terminates through-hole with solder and operates from -65°C to 125°C.
Plating and material choices for signal duty
The mating contact carries 30.0 µin (0.76 µm) gold over brass, while the post receives 100.0 µin (2.54 µm) tin — the gold interface supports repeated mating cycles in signal paths without corrosion, and the tin post solders reliably into the plated through-hole. The glass-filled polyester housing carries UL94 V-0 flammability rating and is black, suiting the receptacle for equipment inside an enclosure requiring flame-rated insulators.
