The 67996-416HLF: Rated at 3 A per contact, the tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts carry signal-level currents reliably. The unshrouded design keeps the profile low (0.100" insulation height) and allows easy access for probing or manual wiring, but offers less mechanical protection than a shrouded header. It is suited for board-to-board stacking where the mating receptacle provides the alignment.
Through-Hole Solder Termination and Board Layout Fit
Termination is through-hole solder, with a 0.095" (2.41 mm) post length for the solder tail. The square male pins are compatible with most 0.025" square-post receptacles. The 0.100" pitch and row spacing set the board footprint—confirm the mating receptacle's pin-out before layout.
