Board-to-board header with 72 positions
The 67997-172H is the 72-position member of Amphenol ICC's BERGSTIK® II unshrouded header line, arranged in a dual-row layout at 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch. Mating contacts are gold or gold GXT™ plated to 30.0 µin (0.76 µm) and rated 3 A per circuit, with a through-hole solder termination and UL94 V-0 black insulation.
Pitch, footprint, and routing density
The 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch and 0.100" (2.54 mm) row spacing set the board footprint for a 72-circuit dual-row header — the same pitch used across the BERGSTIK® II series, so the per-circuit board area is consistent regardless of position count. The 0.230" (5.84 mm) mating pin length and 0.120" (3.05 mm) post length give a total contact length of 0.450" (11.43 mm), which determines the stack height range for the mating receptacle.
