The 67997-214HLF: The through-hole solder tails (0.120" post length) anchor into the PCB, and the 0.230" mating pin length gives enough wipe for a reliable connection without bottoming out in the socket.
The 0.100" pitch and row spacing set a standard 2.54mm grid — the PCB footprint is a 2×7 array of plated through-holes on 2.54mm centers. The 0.120" post length suits boards up to about 1.6mm thick; longer posts are available in the series if the board stack-up demands it.
