Pitch, plating, and position count

The 0.100" pitch and dual-row layout set the board footprint; the 0.230" mating length and 0.120" post length define the stack height for the mating receptacle. Mating contacts are gold or GXT plated to 30.0 µin, which supports repeated mating cycles in corrosive environments.
