Product details

The Amphenol 67998-264HLF is a 64-position, dual-row unshrouded header from the BergStik® II series, built for board-to-board stacking on a standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch. It carries 5A per contact with a 110V voltage rating, using square male pins in phosphor bronze with a 15.0µin (0.38µm) gold mating finish — or the GXT™ gold alloy option for extended cycle life. The through-hole solder tails are 0.107" (2.71mm) long, and the overall contact length is 0.525" (13.34mm), giving a mated stack height that suits typical BergStik receptacle pairs.

The 0.100" pitch and 0.100" row spacing are the classic BergStik footprint — a 64-position header in two rows means 32 pins per row, and the board layout needs a 0.100" x 0.100" grid with 0.025" square holes for the pins. The unshrouded design gives you flexibility in mating orientation, but you lose the polarization key that a shrouded header provides — the mating receptacle's housing must handle alignment. Gold plating at 15 µ" is good for hundreds of mating cycles in clean environments; if you're mating and unmating frequently in a corrosive setting, the GXT™ option (a harder gold alloy) extends contact wear life.

Frequently asked questions

Is 67998-264HLF shrouded or unshrouded?

It is an unshrouded header — there is no plastic shroud around the pins, so the mating receptacle must provide any polarization or keying.
