The FCI 67998-268HLF is a 68-position, 2-row unshrouded male header from the BERGSTIK® II series. It uses the standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch on both rows and between rows, which means it drops into any board footprint designed for that spacing — the same pitch as legacy IDC ribbon connectors and many backplane headers. The through-hole solder tails are 0.107" (2.71 mm) long, suited for standard PCB thicknesses. Rated 5 A per contact with gold or GXT™ plating at 15.0 µ" (0.38 µm) on the mating surface, this header carries enough cycle life for field-serviceable boards without the cost of heavier gold.

Mating and Termination — Unshrouded Push-Pull Header
It mates with any standard 0.100" pitch, 68-position female socket or IDC receptacle that accepts square 0.025" pins. The 0.318" (8.08 mm) mating pin length gives enough wipe for a reliable connection in most standard socket depths. Termination is through-hole solder; the 0.107" (2.71 mm) post length fits standard PCB thicknesses in the 0.062" to 0.093" range.
