Board-to-Board Header for Standard 0.100" Stacking
It uses a 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch on both the mating interface and row spacing, matching the industry-standard footprint for pin headers and receptacles. All 4 positions are loaded, giving you a full 2x2 grid for signal or low-power routing. The tin-on-tin contact finish (100.0 µin / 2.54 µm on the mating side) provides a reliable, cost-effective connection for applications with limited mating cycles — think internal board stacking in consumer electronics, industrial controls, or test equipment where the connector sees few mate/unmate events over its life.
Construction and Fit
Through-hole solder termination, with a 0.107" (2.71 mm) post length and a total contact length of 0.525" (13.34 mm). The 0.100" (2.54 mm) insulation height keeps the header profile low on the board. In high-vibration environments, a secondary retention method (e.g., a dab of adhesive or a locking receptacle) is worth considering.
