Product Introduction
The FCI 67998-448HLF is a 48-position, dual-row unshrouded header from the BERGSTIK® II series, designed for board-to-board stacking applications on a standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch grid.
The 48 positions are fully loaded across two rows, with a row-to-row spacing of 0.100" (2.54mm) matching the pitch between contacts. The overall contact length of 0.525" (13.34mm) splits into a 0.318" (8.08mm) mating section and a 0.107" (2.71mm) solder tail, giving a clear board-to-board stack height budget when paired with a receptacle of known insulation height. The insulation height of the header itself is 0.100" (2.54mm). The housing is rated UL94 V-0, and the phosphor bronze contacts carry a 100.0 µin (2.54 µm) tin finish on the mating side.
As an unshrouded BERGSTIK® II header, this part is suited for internal board-to-board interconnects in computing, industrial control, and telecom equipment where the mated pair is housed within an enclosure. The tin plating and 5 A rating fit signal-level and low-power distribution duties.
