BERGSTIK® II 62-Position Unshrouded Header
The through-hole solder termination and 0.318" (8.08mm) mating pin length provide a stable mechanical anchor in the PCB, while the 0.100" (2.54mm) insulation height keeps the profile low for tight card-to-card spacing.
Contact Plating and Mating Duty
Tin-on-tin interfaces can frett under vibration if unmated, but for a board-to-board header that stays mated inside an enclosure, this is a cost-effective choice. The tin post finish also solders cleanly with standard lead-free profiles.
Mating and Footprint Compatibility
As an unshrouded header with push-pull fastening, the 67998-462HLF mates with any standard 0.100" pitch dual-row receptacle that accepts 0.025" square pins — common in IDC ribbon cable sockets, board-to-board receptacles, and wire-to-board housings from multiple manufacturers. The 62-position count means the mating half must also be a 62-position, dual-row, 0.100" pitch female connector. No keying or polarization is built in, so orientation is set by the PCB layout and the connector's own pin-1 marking.
