The 68000-116: At 0.100" pitch, the footprint is spacious enough for two-layer boards without micro-vias — each pin can be fanned out on the top layer. Because the header is unshrouded, the board layout must account for the mating receptacle's keying features — there is no polarisation on the header itself.
