Unshrouded Push-Pull – No Polarization Built In
There is no shroud to guide or polarise the mating receptacle — the mating half must provide its own keying or rely on the housing geometry to prevent mis-mating. The 0.100" insulation height leaves the pins exposed above the housing face, which means the mating receptacle's shroud or skirt must clear the pin tips on engagement.
Through-Hole Solder Termination – Board Retention and Assembly
The 0.100" insulation height (2.54 mm) means the housing sits close to the board surface — useful when the mating receptacle needs a low profile above the PCB.
RoHS compliant.
