Contact Plating and Current Duty
The phosphor bronze base spring maintains contact force over the temperature range. Rated 3 A per contact, but that ceiling assumes all 10 circuits carrying current simultaneously at 25°C ambient. In a typical signal chain at 1–2 A per pin, the temperature rise stays well inside the UL94 V-0 housing limit.
