This is an unshrouded header with push-pull fastening — no locking latch. The 0.100" insulation height keeps the header profile low above the board surface, which helps when stacking clearance is tight. All 16 positions are loaded — no empty cavities to account for in the BOM.
Within the same BERGSTIK® II 68001 base series, the 68001-116HLF (16 positions) sits alongside the 68001-113HLF (13 positions), 68001-110HLF (10 positions), and 68001-108HLF (8 positions). If the BOM calls for fewer circuits, the 68001-113HLF is the closest drop-in: same footprint pitch, same contact stack, just three fewer positions. No other spec change needed.
